Rhett Stroud was born in Horry County and raised on a farm, where the days started early and the work was done right or done over. He carried that into the construction trades around Myrtle Beach, working electrical and plumbing, and eventually earned his master electrician credentials.
After relocating to Lexington County, where he met his wife Alysia of Aiken County, Rhett founded The Electric Man in 2007. The company has grown into a trusted electrical contractor with locations in both Aiken County and Lexington County, serving homeowners, builders, and businesses across the region with residential and commercial electrical work.
Alysia, an Aiken County schoolteacher, shares the same values that shape the business. Their children, Gracie and Noah, are both aspiring electricians, which is part of why the company’s promise is printed on the side of every van: our family serving yours.
